16 August 2021Edward Casey is an EU Funding Manager at AMBER. Prior to AMBER, Edward was a Project Manager at Dublin City University, looking after EU funded projects. Previously, he was a Programme and Project Manager at University College Dublin, where he worked on both exchequer and EU funded programmes.
At AMBER, he contributes to both the pre- and post-ward portfolios of the non-exchequer, non-commercial (NENC) team. Within this role, he assists researchers with everything from opportunity and horizon scanning to proposal development and submission, particularly in the Horizon Europe space; he is also the manager for two active EU-funded Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCAs): the ADMIRE COFUND in advanced materials research and the DeMANS staff exchange programme in additive manufacturing.

He has a BE (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering and a PhD, both from University College Dublin.
