Taking a look back at last week’s Transition Year (TY) work experience ‘Exploring Materials’
We hosted budding future researchers who had the opportunity to explore a number of advancedmaterials topics such as AI, BioEngineering and Graphene culminating in a showcase of projects by the TY Students and how the contribute to achieving UN Sustainable Development Goals.
We were delighted to host such informed and eager to learn students with a passion for science and research. As always the success of this work experience is down to our fantastic Education & Training Manager Mairead Holden and our staff and researchers kindly donating their time run tutorials and judge the showcase.
AMBER has a strong emphasis on collaboration. Central to AMBER’s research remit are collaborative projects performed with industry partners, and working with academic, industry and wider stakeholder on international and national research programmes.
