AMBER Researcher Larisa Florea was one of the researchers invited to talk about her experiences of being involved in and running / managing EU grants as part of the “Reality Check on Implementation of Horizon Europe”.
Larisa has an ERC starting grant, is partner in two EIC projects; one Pathfinder Open and one Pathfinder Challenge and is currently coordinating an EIC Transition.
As part of the European Commission’s approach to better implementation and simplification, the Commission’s Research and Innovation Directorate-General organised a Reality Check on implementation aspects of Horizon Europe, the EU’s research and innovation Framework Programme.
This Reality Check focused on practical experience with Horizon Europe, aiming to collect feedback on implementation from external stakeholders and identify opportunities for simplification. It took the form of a virtual round table, featuring a panel of researchers/innovators with extensive experience across the three main pillars of Horizon Europe.
Whilst the entire discussion is insightful, Larisa’s first contribution to the discussion begins at 26:38min – 32:12min and continues throughout. The session can be viewed here.
AMBER has a strong emphasis on collaboration. Central to AMBER’s research remit are collaborative projects performed with industry partners, and working with academic, industry and wider stakeholder on international and national research programmes.
