AMBER funded PhD students Winner & Runner up in IUA Thesis in 3 Competition

Congratulations to AMBER funded PhD Researchers who competed and were successful in the Irish University Association’s (IUA) Thesis in 3 competition held on Wednesday 15th November 2023.
 
Lianne Shanley of Trinity College Dublin was the Overall winner & Audience Choice presenting her Thesis ‘Read the Instructions: Teaching your Immune System to Grow a New You.’ Lianne is part of AMBER FI Dr Aisling Dunne’s research group in the School of Biochemistry and Immunology in Trinity College Dublin.
Victoria Ward of University of Galway was Runner up presenting her Thesis ‘Healing Hearts with Hyaluronic Acid Hydrogels’. Victoria is part of AMBER FI Professor Gary P Duffy’s group Duffy Lab within the School of Medicine at the University of Galway.
