2D-PRINTABLE & HYPERSONIC Symposium 2026

8 April 2026

On March 31, the 2D-PRINTABLE & HYPERSONIC Symposium 2026 brought together researchers, industry leaders, and policymakers to explore the future of 2D printed materials for digital electronics.

From inspiring talks by experts from the Graphene Flagship and the Innovative Advanced Materials Initiative, to cutting-edge presentations from project partners, the day was packed with insights into emerging technologies and real-world applications.

AMBER Principal Investigator Prof. Johnny Coleman delivered an insightful presentation on recent advancements within the 2D‑PRINTABLE project at the joint symposium with Hypersonic.

The symposium welcomed multidisciplinary partners from across Europe, who convened to share their most recent findings on “2D Materials on Demand for Digital Electronics.”

In addition to contributions from the consortium researchers and industry collaborators, the symposium featured invited presentations from representatives of the Graphene Flagship, Research Ireland, and IAM‑I.

Overall, the event provided a valuable platform for scientific exchange, collaboration, and the advancement of research in next‑generation materials and technologies.
