Research Fellow position available in Separation Technologies (Post-Doctoral Researcher)
Come work with Prof Ramesh Babu and the Polymeric Materials and NanoComposites (PMNC) group in AMBER Trinity College Dublin on a project funded by Horizon Europe
The post holder will be responsible for developing the processes for the removal/recovery of components from wastewater from marine-based industries and contributing to developing the sustainable and zero-waste aquatic food value chain. This project requires working knowledge of ICP-MS, GC-MS, HPLC, UV-Vis, Metal analysis, COD, BOD, Protein, vitamin, and amino acid analysis, and other analytical tools.
Candidate must have a PhD in a relevant field such as Chemical Engineering, Bioprocess Technology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Materials science, or Physics and/or equivalent industrial experience in wastewater treatment, separation technology, adsorption process and purification.
