MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowship for AMBER Researchers

AMBER researchers and supervisors have been successful in the 2023 MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowship Awards. Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Postdoctoral Fellowships support career perspectives and excellence of postdoctoral researchers.

·  Francisco Calero (Fellow) with Fergal O’Brien (Supervisor) (RCSI) – PancmiR: “Biomimetic collagen-based scaffolds for the study of pancreatic cancer and delivery anti-tumoural miRNA for enhanced cancer therapy”
·  Dominika Capkova (Fellow) with Kevin Ryan (Supervisor) (UL) – SALSA: “Carbon-Based Materials Development for Sulfur Cathodes and High-Capacity Lithiated Silicon Anodes in LiSi-S Batteries”
·  Arup Sarkar (Fellow) with Alessandro Lunghi (Supervisor) (TCD) – SEQUOIA: “Quantum Sensing with Metal-Organic Frameworks: DFT, Molecular Dynamics and Machine Learning Exploration”
·  Asmita Sen (Fellow) with Alessandro Lunghi (Supervisor) (TCD)- MALAMER: “Machine Learning-Assisted simulation of Metalloenzyme’s Reactivity”

Projects across the field of advanced materials including bioengineering and biomaterials to quantum and materials for ICT. Researchers belong to Universities / Institutions
Trinity College Dublin, University of Limerick, Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI) and CRANN.
